Happy New Year!

It may be because I am a procrastinator from way back, but I never seem to set New Years' resolutions at the beginning of the new year...why not wait until inspiration hits you? Why not July? I find (and you may think the same when you see my list of Currently Reading...there, on the right panel of this page) that I have been reading books that are changing my perspective on how I live, eat and think...

This always happens, though. I get tired of living a worn, sad, crusty existence and I want to make some changes. Nothing big, just little things like, taking the stairs instead of the elevator or choosing a salad instead of a double cheeseburger for lunch. I commit to the changes for a few weeks (if I am diligent!) and that's that. My crusty life takes over once again...hmmm, maybe I should be reading books on follow-through and anti-procrastination...

Ah well, I'll get to it eventually ;-)

People read all these books (myself included) and get grand ideas in their heads of changing their lives, but if we like double cheeseburgers, a salad isn't going to change that.

Do you ever wonder who reads books on procrastination?

I always wonder! I think it's best that I live my life to the fullest, instead of comparing my life with that of others...double cheeseburgers, here I come ;-)
